A lot of time and thought has been put into giving this pub an new lease of life and it is reaping the rewards. The ground floor serves as both bar and informal dining area. They serve a well curated range or beers, wines, spirits and more in a corner of Dublin that has long needed in injection of new energy in it.
The upstairs dining room is more formal and boasts nice views out over the river Liffey. The kitchen staff consistently serve up good quality, well cooked food from the somewhat short but well balanced menu. There is a great value 'pre-theater' for early diners
Try to book ahead, especially if you are planning to eat here at weekends. The staff will do their best to accommodate you if you haven't though .
