The Rector`s palace is a great building that shows almost all architecture styles that were used to built the town from the 13th century up to today. For Dubrovniker this palace is a symbol for independence and successful ruling during the middle age.

Today it is a museum with many interesting items that you can see. Each room tells its own story - about the prisons, storages, old safes and transportation boxes from the 15th and 16th century. On the first floor you can visit rooms that belong to the rector`s flat with numerous portraits, coats, coins and furniture of the last rector.
Visit this place during the afternoon when no large groups enter. And walk through the whole palace as it is really very interesting
