KIT is placed in an extraordinary subterranean place just under the Rhine Promenade and in between two major road tunnels. The exhibitions, 4-6 per year, focus on international contemporary art across a range of genres.

Why you should visit it
Location of KIT is as great as the gallery itself. Subterranean exhibition space is hidden under a café with an amazing view of the river Rhine, Rheinturm and oh-so-romantic sunsets. It also takes just 10 minutes to get here on foot from the Altstadt.
