Wondering why the picture above? Bramble Bar is probably the most hidden bar of the city, hidden beneath a dry cleaner in a basement. At first it might seem a bit dodgy to take the stairs to a dark New Town basement. Once you are through the door, you will find yourself in a cave-like cosy bar with an extensive drink list.
Special tip
Take the steps downstairs and turn left, the Bramble Bar's entrance is signalled by a little golden plaque which is impossible to spot from upstairs.
