Dragonfly is a stylish little coctail bar located just a few steps away from the buzzing Grassmarket area. It's a great spot for a drink in the Old Town without being a touristy bar. At weekends there are local DJs playing and the coctail list is pretty impressive.
Why you should visit it
Fancy a drink, but want to avoid the tourist trap Grassmarket bars? Walk a bit further, towards Edinburgh's strip club area, the so-called 'Pubic Triange'. Dragonfly is located halfway between the two, and it is a perfect stop for a tasty coctail. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is warm in this cosy wee bar.
