Why locals love it

Built into a quarry, EICA has something to offer for all skills and ages - giant walls and over 250 routes for beginners and advanced climbers alike. Not to mention the aerial assault course! There's also shopping, bouldering, gym and massage in a spa, all in one space. Staff is very upbeat and helpful, facilities are safe and clean.

Why you should visit it

A great option for an active holiday. Even if you are afraid of heights this place is enough to convince you to give it a go. At the time of its opening in 2003 it was the biggest indoor climbing arena in the world.

Special tip

Have an extra layer on you (at least in winter!. Trying to climb a wall with cold fingers is not a pleasant experience.

A very unique climbing centre for both the experienced and first timer and it is undercover so great when the weather is bad.
