Kay's Bar is a friedly little neighbourhood pub in the heart of the New Town. It was originally a Georgian coach house, but after its conversion it has been offering booze to thirsty locals since the 1970s. No music, no quiz nights, no fuss, but friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Don't be surprised, the place is tiny and tourists are rare visitors. Historic Kay's Bar is definitely a locals' pub. The place still has some of the original Victorian fittings, check it out.
The cask ale list changes regulary, so there is always something new to try.
