Why you should visit it
Although this area has recently been refurbished, and is very close to the hustle and bustle of Princes Street and the Royal Mile, it still is a bit of a secret. It's a lot quieter down there and a breath of fresh air! What's great is that each shop is independently owned so you can expect high quality goods and something a bit different.
Special tip
The Food & Flea Market has very recently just opened up down the road from The Arches. It's a great place to head for local, top quality nosh.
