This popular venue has been around since '96 and now moved to the U'belly. Streching over two floors Bongo has consistently offered a haven for different kinds of genres from rock to hip-hop, jungle, electronic and house. Nowadays the club attracts a more varied group of uni students, but there is still a healthy amount of regulars attending.

Why you should visit it

This venue is definitely more for the young(-at-heart), but depending on your tastes you might find exactly the genre you like, unlike in other mainstream clubs. Drinks are cheap and on a good night can be crowded with Edinburgh students!
