The Wee Red Bar lives up to its name. It is a small place hidden behind the Edinburgh College of Art with friendly crowd, regular live gigs and student friendly booze prices.
Why you should visit it
If you like studenty atmosphere and live gigs, you will like the Wee Red too. The place is definitely not touristy and quite tricky to find, there are no signposts. From Lauriston place enter the alleyway leading to the grounds of the College of Art, and head towards the lights.
