Scenic circuit of a hidden urban lake

Why locals love it

We just recently did the 2 km circuit around Beaumaris Lake. In July the vegetation is at a peak. On the lake are cormorants, pelicans, ducks and bittern. Virtually unpublicized, and even from the parking lot of the shopping area one has to persevere around and behind the public library to access the lake.
