Why locals love it

Malla's Nature Park is the oldest nature park in Finland. The land was protected as a reservation area in 1916 and the nature park was established in 1938. The area covers 31 square kilometers. Due to the calcareous substrate, the area has a diverse range of fell vegetation. During the summer, only marked trails are allowed in the Park.
