Why locals love it
Saana Fell rises magnificently next to the village of Kilpisjärvi. The altitude of this special-looking mountain is 1029 meters. The Saana Hiking Trail has been re-aligned to prevent the Saana slope from deteriorating. The official route departs from the Malla Nature Park parking area and climbs to the slope of the Saana.
Why you should visit it
The path from the Hiking Center is also accessible. From the Saana trail you can also reach Lake Saanajärvi and around the fell, and in the winter you can go trails there.
