Espoon Kartano

Why locals love it

Espoon Mansion is one of the old royal mansions along the "Kuninkaatie". The medieval road line continues through the mansion area. The Mankin River is known to cross the mansion area and across it there's Finland's oldest 17th century stone vault bridge. Espoon Kartano is exceptionally plentiful of history from Medievals into today.

Why you should visit it

The King of Sweden, Gustav Vasa, established the mansion in 1556. The historic elements of the manor environment include the manor's main building, the park, production buildings, two courtyards with numerous financial buildings and a little-farther outbuilding. The river below the manor house has a stone-built mill and two stone vault bridges.
