Why locals love it
Length 6.8 km, of which 485 m tunnel in Hiidenkallio. Ring Road II has been designed since the 1960s. In 1984, the Espoo City Council approved a road plan in which Ring Road II was a street equipped with level crossings. The plans changed several more times until construction began in 1996.
Why you should visit it
The connection from Matinkylä to Kilo was opened to motorway traffic in October 2000. It is currently used by 41,000 vehicles a day. The same alignment is followed by the light traffic trunk.
