Why locals love it
Completed in 1980, length 24.2 km from Keilaniemi to Itäkeskus. The bridge over the railway was completed as early as 1965 to facilitate traffic from Hagalundintie to Turuntie. Ring Road I mostly serves intra-regional traffic. It is the busiest road in Finland: on weekdays in Pakila more than 90,000 vehicles a day and here too about 70,000.
