In the middle of Kauniainen there is a wonderful secret to be found for all adventurers. Stockmann's ruins jump into the past in one fell swoop. On the rocky ridge of the hill rises the stone foot of a lavish villa that has been interrupted. The villa is located next to the Kasavuori fitness trail in its own peace.

Why you should visit it
Consul Franz G.O.M. Stockmann began building a large villa on a magnificent site on the top of a cliff in 1918. However, the building was soon interrupted by Spanish disease: the builder, Consul Frans Stockmann, and his wife, Edith, died of the plague in 1919-1920.
Special tip
It is worth walking through the fitness track starting from the Kauniainen Kasavuori school.
