Summertime in the San Niccolo neighborhood is tough to beat and Il Rifrullo's terrace is one of the main reasons for that! The bar is quite spacious indoors, but until cold weather strikes, everyone guns to get seated on the terrace overlooking one of Florence's most charming neighborhoods.
Why you should visit it
Spoon up a heaping plate from the buffet, then grab a Negroni and take it outdoors (note: it's best to call ahead if you actually expect to snag a coveted spot on the terrace!) It's right near the foot of the hill that leads up to piazzale Michelangelo, so it's a wonderful place to either "pregame" a piazzale viewing or relax after making the hike.
