Locals love Museo del Novecento because it houses a collection of very important historical artworks. Restored by the architects Italo Rota and Fabio Fornasari, the old Arengario Palace is now one of the most interesting buildings in the Duomo area.

Inside you'll find beautiful 20th-century Italian artworks including the iconic “Fourth Estate” painting by Pellizza da Volpedo. There’s also a nice restaurant/bar where you can have a coffee and admire the Duomo skyline.
Keep in mind that the majority of municipal museums are closed on Monday mornings.
