Why you should visit it
Despite its striking white and green marble facade, the interior of the church is quite austere. It's peaceful and makes the perfect place to take a respite from the chaos of the city below. Next door to the church, the monks of San Miniato run a charming little gift shop selling soaps, rosary beads, homemade beauty treatments and more.
