Why locals love it
It's not like the mainstream multiplex cinemas we all know from our cities. It's quite alternative and at ease. The films are chosen by the organizers and are not the newest blockbusters, but classics or popular films that are a few years old. This year they've screened Interstellar, Wild, Gone Girl and so on.

Why you should visit it
most movies are shown in English (or original language), unless they're German movies, and subtitled. You can buy some street food and drinks there, not the usual popcorn and nachos stuff. There's also a DJ playing before the film starts.
Special tip
Come early (opens at 8 p.m., screening starts when it gets dark) in order to get the seat you want. Location of the screenings changes every season!
