There are several shopping malls in Frankfurt: MyZeil and Zeilgalerie at the "main" shopping street Zeil (City, between Hauptwache und Konstablerwache), Nordwestzentrum in the northern part of Frankfurt, Hessencenter in the East, and the newest one: Skyline Plaza close to the fair (Messe).
In those malls you'll find the typical stores such as H&M, Zara, Mango, adidas, food courts, etc.
For a more individualistic shopping I'd refer to the boutiqes and designer stores at Schweizer Straße in Sachsenhausen or the lower Berger Straße in Bornheim.
For luxury shopping I recommend Goethe- and Schillerstraße in the City.
At Hanauer Landstraße in Ostend you can shop furniture and cars. Many outlets are located there.
Every Saturday morning there is a big flea market either at the River Main (Sachsenhausen) or at Lindleystraße in Ostend (they alternate the place every 2nd week) where you can shop 2nd hand clothes and other items such as games, furniture, household stuff, etc.
