It's a layback hip as well as hippie place using high-quality ingredients for their mainly vegetarian and vegan dishes. They also offer one to two daily changing dishes like hearty stews. Apparently great coffee too.

Why you should visit it
It's a place that represents what Freiburg stands for; a little hipster, a little indie and alternative, healthy, regional, vegetarian, vegan, bio and delicious. Also, it makes for a nice change from what you get elsewhere in town.
Special tip
They have a fabulous salad with nuts (changes a little every time) and a crazy good lentil daal. Gets really busy around lunch hour so don't come too
