This museum is located in a beautiful building on the outskirts of Ghent. It is part of a psychiatric hospital, which makes it really unique. The temporary exhibitions are always curated very well and make you see things from a different perspective than you're used to.
There are two permanent exhibitions, one about the history of psychiatry and one about outsider art. Especially the last one is really inspiring! They also host temporary exhibitions about certain psychological themes, for instance about shame, physiognomy, autism, nervous women, melancholy, ...
The courtyard is lovely when the sun is out.
