Hiya,
Is there a bar that serves good food in Ghent, plays good music, and turns into a nightclub later on? A outdoor terrace would also be amazing! I should mention we are a group of 17 .... going in July
Thank!

Multa tuli can easily seat a big group but doesn’t offer dancing. Holy food market might be a better option. It’s like a foodhall, so you can all pick your preferred food. Cafe charlatan is close for the dancing :)

Thank you! Can you reserve a table at the Holy Food market?
Not that I know, but there's a lot of tables and a lot of movement. It's a big hall where there are a lot of food stands and each can pick his flavour and you just grab a table or place to eat. Depending on weather, you could even go outside in the parc nearby. And indeed, like someone else said: if you go between 19 and 28th, it's gentse feesten and the whole city is one food paradise and you can dance on every square or pub: https://gentsefeesten.stad.gent/
That’s great - we are going to be there on fri 19th July! Because we are such a big group though I think we should book a table somewhere for dinner. Is there a restaurant you’d recommend along with outside seating along the river that is close to the festivities?
Most of the bars have snacks but they don't turn into nightclubs although you can dance on a good night. Nice bars are Moriz, de Vooruit is a café where you can also eat, tapas and drinks in Mosquito coast. Nearby you have good nightclubs: Vlasmarkt or Oude Beestenmarkt and Millie Vanillie.

If you are going between 19 and 28 july the whole city of Ghent is a restaurant/bar/nightclub because of 'De Gentse Feesten'. Free gigs for everyone!

If you are going in between the 19th and 28th the entire city will be an outdour party https://gentsefeesten.stad.gent/nl.

Venue that fits everything you describe

or https://www.facebook.com/BarBricolage/ if the weather is excellent

Or just find something to eat in the city center an head to the vlasmarkt or oude beestenmarkt and you will find a small dancing bar that is playing your jam.

Thanks Anthony! Is there a club you would recommend for a big group? There are 17 of us so a small dancing bar might be tricky if its too busy. Bar Bricolage sounds great. Wonder if you can get on a guest list there?
