Why locals love it

The place Eggenberg is the biggest and most marvelous palace of Graz. It is a little bit out of town, but you can reach it via tram. In 2010 it was also added to the list of UNESCO world heritage site - one of the reasons for that was the fully intact situation of the palace. It wasn't harmed by time or war. Totally worth a visit.
