200 year old beech with 3 trunks

Von-Alten-Garten

Why locals love it

Another green place in Linden. It used to be a big baroque garden back in 13th century and it was transformed into an english garden in 1800. There was built a baroque castle which burned down in WW II, nowadays you'll see the remains of the terrace and a grotto with sculptures.

Why you should visit it

There are some benches -when youre lucky: in the sun-, a playground, a lot of trees and a little bit of hanoverian history. In summer you may play frisbee, have a picnic.. Unfortunately there is a big street next to the parc, so its not an absolute silent place.

Special tip

Don*t miss the 3 trunked, estimated 200 year old beech!
