Why locals love it

We bring the oldest ceramics village of Bat Trang to you right in the heart of Hanoi's old quarter, at 62 Hang Hom, Hang gai, Hoan Kiem. Here you will find a wide selection of authentic Bat Trang ceramics for sale. You can even join a pottery class conducted by an experienced teacher, in a small group setting.

Why you should visit it

There’s no better place to try pottery for the first time than in Hanoi. If you are looking for someone who cares for your needs and will make your trip as smooth as possible, then I wouldn’t hesitate to book yourself into a class! The class itself was really wonderful. We had many tries at making our products.

Special tip

It was fun seeing how pottery is created every step of the way. Even more fun making our own pottery!

A great few hours spent in Hanoi being creative! Bring home your own made souvenir from an authentic Vietnamese potter. We had a blast playing with the clay, then getting down to business making some stuff we could use back home. It takes 3 days to fire and glaze so make sure you plan ahead.
