As interesting outside as inside the Cathedral marks the boundary of the Old and French Quarters in Hanoi. The front courtyard is a favorite for wedding photos and there are always throngs of people, very fun and interesting. Walk around the side to enter and you will be wrapped in the cool quiet of a traditional cathedral.
Why you should visit it
This place in itself is stunning. A little run-down, but nonetheless, very beautiful. Do come at a time when you can visit the interior as well; it is just as impressive. Significant icon of Vietnamese history as well.

A pretty impressive cathedral and a very popular hangout for both young and old. Great architecture and well looked after.
