61 Meters Above Sea
Why locals love it
Jakomäki's Hill lies on a turn line, which continues as a rocky sharp edge through Herttoniemi to Kruunuvuori. The entire bedrock of Southern Finland has been involved in the continental collision of the tiles approximately 1900 million years ago that formed Svekofenn mountain range.
Why you should visit it
Jakomäki's Hill is Alpine-like mountain range that has lost it's edge through weathering and several ice ages. Also the Yoldia Sea waves smoothed the surface of the rock. You can find the area among others. Airplanes arriving to Malmi Airport often turn over Jakomäki's Hill, good place to observe planes: https://webtrak.emsbk.com/hel
