Why locals love it
Patterinmäki is really a local outside museum, unfortunately it has been buried underneath the time itself. The nature area hides away a huge amount of man-made structures of defence lines, that has been made in the 1 WW. On the top of the hill theres few Anti-aircraft defence battalion spots that are surrounded by the trenches.

Why you should visit it
Man- made trenches are truely a wonder, how they were build into the hard bedrock is really amazing. Bunkers are of limits due the danger of collapse, but still this unique battle field is breathtaking place to visit.
Special tip
Terrain is really rocky, good shoes are required. Be careful on the site, trenches are some places pretty deep, danger to fall is possible.
