Not-so-musty museum

Natural History Museum

Why locals love it

Actually one of the coolest Helsinki museums cleverly disguised as...well...an old museum. If you like dust, musty old exhibitions and long, boring afternoons, this museum is NOT for you!

Why you should visit it

One of the best and most fascinating places to visit in Helsinki, with life-sized dinosaur skeletons, creative and informative exhibits and much more. Really not for the faint hearted! Multiple floors, cheerful and knowledgeable staff and a fairly standard cafe.

Special tip

Free entrance every every first Thursday of the month from 4pm.
