Why locals love it
Next to the harbour at Punavuori you'll find one of Helsinki’s best known music venues. The building is operated by the local association for live music and also houses rehearsal rooms that are used by many famous Finnish bands and artists. Check out the nice downstairs bar called Alakerta - it’s open during the day and offers decent lunches.
Why you should visit it
Being one of Helsinki’s best known music venues, Nosturi has a little bit of something for everyone - although we are in Finland, so its generally assumed that everyone wants rock or heavy metal. This being said, you might also run into the occasional techno rave and the place has even been known to host a festival of evangelical music!

The building also houses rehearsal rooms that are used by many famous Finnish bands.
