Can't go wrong at Molly Malone's! In the Kallio district you'll also find many bars open!

There are tons of bars around Lonnrotinkatu. Too many to mention.
I would just follow your feet & bar hop. They will all be open until the small hours. Sunday isn't usually very busy though.

Bier Bier, Bar Llamas, Brewdog, Mockba. All great bars.

Shame. When did it close? Not been there since summer. Had great decor! Either way, tons of other places close by I guess.

It's been closed since last summer :). But you're right, tons of other places still.

I am coming to Helsinki on a Sunday with my brother and his girlfriend and we'd like somewhere cool to go for some drinks. We'll be staying on Lonnrotinkatu so somewhere within walking distance would be good. Thanks!

Yeah most bars and pubs should be open, the opening times are often a bit shorter than on Fri-Sat though, with most places closing around 01-02 on Sunday. Not far from Lönnrotinkatu is for example Villi Wäinö (http://www.villiwaino.fi/). For 'clubbing' (bar with dance floor and seats) it's mainly Maxine, Lady moon and Milliklubi (the latter two while not being the classiest establishments (however not the worst either), you can get certain cocktails and all tap drinks for less than 4.5€ all night there) and for drinking until 04 Molly Malone's irish pub
