Hi, during weekdays you can find affortable business lunches and salads (7-10€) in lot of places, like Factory, Teatteri, Fazer cafe in the very center, but lunches should not be hard to find anywhere in the city. In general: the more south you go, the more expensive it gets.

If your looking for something cheaper, I would check out pizza/kebab/ethnic/fast food places such as Friends n' Burgers or Tortilla House.

Hi, if looking for traditional but cheap Finnish food for lunch I would go to the Old Market Hall to "Soup Kitchen" which is serving traditional soups with some rye bread.

Also restaurant Cella in Kallio District is a great place for both lunch and dinner. They serve all the traditional things like reindeer stew and Karelian stew but it's less expensive than in the city centre where all the tourists are roaming the streets.

For mussels I would guess Belge (a Belgian kitchen) would be great because they have a lot of options for the sauce: white wine, garlic, chili etc.
