We are a couple visiting Helsinki with our two girls (1 and 6). Could you recommend places to visit and where to eat so we'll enjoy the food too;)?

Hi Alisa. I have read the comments above and could agree with most of them :-) (skipp the biggest shopping centres like Kamppi and Itäkeskus though!) Stockmann is worth seeing.

Would like to highly recommend the Saturday brunch at Moko Market (in Punavuori area, adress Perämiehenkatu 10). The brunch is delicious and its a great place for children as well. The place is a combination of a design market & café, so its also an interesting spot to check out if you're into creative design etc :)

After brunching at this place you could take a short walk to Kaivopuisto (a beautiful park right by the sea). :-)

Enjoy Helsinki!!

Kiitos Charlotta and have a great summer!
Should I order a table for the brunch in Moko?
Hi Alisa! Welcone to Helsinki. I van recommend amusement park "Linnanmäki" and zoo "Korkeasaari". There is also a historic island Suonenlinna. Take a ferry there from Market square. Nice place for outdoor and picknick. Lot of family friendly restaurants in the city. Big shopping mall "Kamppi" in center, biggest department store in Scandinavia "Stockmann". Take metro train to "Itäkeskus" means east center, large shopping mall and lot of indoor restaurants. There are tourist guides around city center to ask more tips what to do and go. Have a nice stay in Finland. Take warm clothes for children. Finnish summer can be cold and rainy 😁 . Best regards Esa.

Kiitos Esa and have a great summer:)
Hi Alisa!

I really recommend a weekend brunch in Block By Dylan which is located by the sea! :) It is a child-friendly, not expensive place with a plentiful brunch buffet :) (19,50€/adult and for the kids 1€ per each year, so it will be 1€ and 6€)
