Why locals love it
Trams are the main form of public transport in the city center. A reliable and comprehensive tramway network covers 11 lines and connects different parts of the city center. HSL operates tram traffic and is responsible for the maintenance of trams. You may travel in trams with paid HSL card, or purchase a single ticket from the HSL App.
Why you should visit it
Experience the olden days on a vintage tram ride in Helsinki. The departure point is the tram stop next to the Havis Amanda statue by the Market Square. The tour takes 15–20 minutes and departures every 30 minutes ( 10AM to 5PM). You can choose between a tram motor from 1909 or an open summer trailer from 1919.
