More Russian than Russia

Ravintola Bellevue

Why locals love it

It's the real deal. Not like the fancy schmancy modern food that doesn't make a dent in your hunger - come here and you know you've been fed.

Why you should visit it

Possibly the oldest Russian restaurant to be found outside the borders of our vast eastern neighbour, Bellevue was started by Estonian entrepreneur, Grigori Pavloff as a cafe in 1917. Now run by famous Finnish restauranteur, Ragni Rissanen, it’s rumoured that here you’ll find more authentic Russian food than you’ll find in Russia.
