Helsinki has many great attractions and museums to enjoy, but it’s also worth getting out of the capital for a day!
After meeting you at hotel lobby or cruise port we will drive to Porvoo. A comfortable and enjoyable 45 minute ride through spectacular landscapes will give you the chance to admire the Finnish countryside.
Once we arrive in Porvoo, we’ll take a walk in the well-preserved medieval Old Town. I’ll tell you about the history of Porvoo and show you its interesting attractions. One of the highlights of our walk will be a visit to the Porvoo Cathedral, which is a great example of medieval church architecture in Finland.
Our walk will then continue to the riverside, where we’ll see the picturesque wooden storage houses that feature on most Finnish postcards. Next, we’ll visit a vantage point that offers great views of the Old Town and the cathedral.
During our walk I’ll also share tips for shops, boutiques, and food places that you can visit in your free time.
After an unforgettable experience, we’ll head back to Helsinki.
