At the Linnanmäki in Alppila, there is the Workers' Living Museum, which you can get glimpsed into the daily life of Helsinki's working classes living conditions. The museum is located into one of the oldest wooden houses that the City of Helsinki built to the working class. The nine houses stove rooms are all decorated in different eras.

Why you should visit it

You can buy nostalgic products as a gift from the museum's gift shop. Products can also been used as decorative items in your own home. In the cozy yard area, the ornamental plants of Helsinki's wooden houses are blooming in summer. Museum is only open in Summers starting at May until the ending of September.
