Why locals love it

/CLOSED IN AUGUST/ Marvelous piece of architecture and the first public indoor pool in Finland from 1928. It has 25-meter pool, a electric sauna, a steam sauna and a wood-heated sauna. Bathing suits have been allowed since 2001.

Why you should visit it

You can either rent a cabin from 2nd floor which includes a towel, a bathrobe and a seat cover. The building is an impressive example of 1920s classicism and it is an important building historically as well as architecturally. Try the ”Cafe Yrjö” located in 2nd floor and order garlic snails (11€).

Special tip

Separate swimming days for men and women (Women: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun. Men: Tue, Thu, Sat).
