Beautiful and relaxing spot in the city

Why locals love it

This beautiful piece of land was owned by a woman who donated the land and cabin to be used as a sanctuary. I love the log cabin and it's immediate surrounding gardens with plenty of bird feeding stations so that nature is abundant every time I visit. The grounds around the cabin have well tended trails and bridges along a creek. A peaceful place.

Why you should visit it

This is a great place for hiking the trails, bird watching, learning about plants, looking for reptiles, learning from the organization's many events, owl walks in the evening, and small venue rental.

Special tip

Come very early or near closing time (8 pm) to experience the bird activity and peaceful moments.
