Unlike other markets, here are group of farmers in Hualien, selling their goods by themselves, not through a distributor, not from other cities, and most of it is organic. Here you can make connections with farmers or customers, talk more and know more about the food and this land.

Why you should visit it
There are more things than vegetables, like handicraft and postcards. Besides you could ask straightly about ingredients from them, here also run special events like live music, food lectures, hand-made stuff and cooking lesson... Check the website if you want to go strolling there. Personally I like one stand that sells painted bags.
Special tip
Better go early if wanting to buy for cook. Once I went there about noon, were about sold out.
