Design Center in Saariselkä, is run by a couple, sell mainly Finnish design: Marimekko, Iittala, Pentik, Aarika, etc. ArcticQueen® was started on a cold windy winter day, the wind could be felt inside the store, Pirjo made woolen fabric with long colorful leg warmers. Customers noticed them and started asking where these were sold.
Why you should visit it
This is where it started and soon expanded to bracelets, collars, ponchos that were easy to throw on for extra warmth. The patented Hug Robe was born out of a desire to make a gracious product that will slim and suit everyone. And soon we realized what they were perfect for.
