The Sámi Cultural Center Sajos, in cooperation with the Sámi Duodji Association, organizes the Sámi handicraft market in Sajos. November weekend. Salesmen gather in the Sajos lobby around the Sámi market. The market is a great place to get acquainted with the newest winds of the Sámi handicrafts and shop for Christmas presents.
Why you should visit it
At the same weekend a yearly Flea Market is also organised at the same spot. The flea market you can discover nice findings: as others useless items might be a treasure for another! You can also find materials such as fabrics, yarns, skins, etc. at the flea market at Sámi Duodji ry.
Special tip
The café in Čaiju offers food for smaller and bigger hungers during the weekend!
