Everyman’s rights form the basis of recreational use of nature: they allow everyone, regardless of age, gender, nationality, wealth or land ownership, to move and reside in nature. Everyman's Rights are actively used in Scandinavia area.

Fell or damage trees, take moss, lichen, soil or twigs, destroy protected plants and natural sites. Drive a motor vehicle off-road or make an open fire without the permission of the landowner.
