Monument of Lapland War
Why locals love it
The Army Jäger Brigade Monument is located on the outskirts of the old German airport area in Kaamanen. The monument was designed by the artist Jouko Nivarpää and erected by the Jäger Brigade of Häme. The land was donated by Ursula and Eino Sistonen. The memorial was unveiled on July 21, 1984 and handed over to the municipality of Inari.
