The Morgamoja's Gold Mine became the center of the gold rush, where in the best years there was a post office, café, inn and even a shop. The original buildings include the Nileite, the sauna and the cellar. The current wilderness hut has been made to the old cabin design.
Along the way, close to the Morgamoja's Gold Mine, there is an old shovel excavation area which has preserved fine line-ups on the hill side. There are also ongoing occupations in the area. When walking from the Gold Harbor to the top slope, start slowly and be sure to take breaks. The ascent is steep.
Often the condition is poor after the winter, and the first ones to stomp along the trail after less than a kilometer. Place doesn't have reception.
