Why you should visit it
Nellim's beautiful wooden Orthodox Church was built in 1988. The church is in service and open to tourists all year round. Trifo's Pilgrimage from Petsamo to Sevettijärvi travel's through Nellim in late August. The Nellim also celebrates the annual celebration of fasting, called Maslenitsa.
