Siida Museum and Nature Center Siida is located in Inari. Inari lies in the Sámi homeland called - Saamen maa. The Sámi Museum tells stories about the minority of original Finns, the number of Sami people is declining. Sami indigenous role has been argued in Lapland area for decades, for all that time Sami minority has been discriminated.
Indigenous Rights in Finland are good, but there's still lot of work needed to give Sami minority the appreciation they deserve. Siida in one of the Sami land marks, located in the Saamen maa, it embraces the cultural and lingual differences of Finland.
